Street Soccer Scotland / Supporting and inspiring thousands of socially disadvantaged adults and young people across Scotland every year is at the heart of this inspiring and award-winning social enterprise.

Over ten years, we have helped build its brand awareness through effective media and stakeholder relations and, as a result, played a small part in creating one of Scotland’s most inspiring charities. So inspiring, in fact, it was named as Scotland’s Charity of the Year in 2017.

In the early days we helped them understand what ‘a story’ is and how it could be turned into widely usable content that others want to read, hear and see.

Whether it’s inspirational stories of young people, special events with Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona or Scotland’s place at the Homeless World Cup (they’ve won it twice you know!). Or maybe it’s the impact of its programmes dealing with issues like, but not limited to, mental and physical health, social exclusion, homelessness and addiction.

Initially, traditional media outlets were where the focus was predominantly on but in recent years, digital and social channels have become key to the delivery of the engaging content – words, images, videos – to its large network of stakeholders.

We also work closely with the founder and chief executive, Dr David Duke MBE, to build his own profile.  He is now widely recognised as a leader in the social enterprise sector and regularly speaks with authority to governments, the corporate world and the charity sector.
